This day is devoted to discovering that rhythm, beginning with the suspended elegance of Castel Gandolfo and culminating among the vineyards and flavours of the Roman Hills.
The morning begins in Castel Gandolfo, officially one of Italy’s most beautiful villages and renowned throughout the world as the summer residence of the Popes. We will walk through quiet streets, panoramic viewpoints over Lake Albano and the refined harmony of Piazza della Libertà, dominated by the Apostolic Palace and Bernini’s fountain.
After this visual and historical introduction, we move into the heart of the Frascati DOCG area to reach a historic estate set in the green countryside. Vineyards and ancient olive groves surround us, preserving an agricultural tradition that remains fully alive.
Lunch at the estate is not a simple tasting but a ritual of conviviality. The wines and extra virgin olive oil speak of a volcanic land able to give minerality, character and depth to every flavour. Here wine is understood as a bond: a social drink that accompanies plans, stories, desires and memories.
We will pair the estate’s labels with rustic bread, their own olive oil, local cured meats and traditional dishes. In this farmhouse, suspended between history and vineyards, Roman hospitality reveals itself as generous, sincere and unforgettable.
